I've worked with children for the last 25 years and opened Cherry Tree Nurseries in December 2007.
I have a great passion for working with children and their families and always strive to get the best outcomes for the children, their families and my team. I want the nursery to feel like a home away from home, while maintaining good learning and development opportunities for the children.

I've worked with children for the last 20 years and have completed my Level 4 qualification in Childhood studies
I have had in varying roles from Children’s Club Leader, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Nurse and then into Nursery Management. I enjoy supporting the families that come through the setting and helping children and staff meet their full potential.

I have recently completed my Level 5 in Leadership and Management
I am really looking forward to using my new skills to support and develop the staff team. I still really enjoy being in the room with the children and getting involved with their activities, and also welcoming the families at the door on their arrival. I started my journey as a nursery apprentice and worked my way up to manager over the years.

I am level 3 qualified and have been working in nurseries for the last 6 years.
I love being part of the children's learning and development. I have experience in working with SEN children. I am enjoying my new role of deputy manager and supporting the manager in the day to day running of the nursery.

I am a level 3 qualified with many years experience in childcare and am the Pre School room leader
I have worked with all different age groups and I am currently based in Pre School as Room Leader. I enjoy getting down the children level and having conversations with them. I am also the SENco for the nursery
Cook / Domestic Assistant - Binley

I am Harvey’s mum. I have my food hygiene certificate and have been a cook for the last 8 years.
I enjoy making a varied menu of meals for the children that are balanced and that meets all their dietary requirements. When I joined the nursery, Harvey would call me mum and a few children copied her and from there most children think that’s my name.

I have my level 3 in food hygiene and food production in catering level 2
I have been cooking for children for about 15 year which I love. I love cooking with the children and planting and growing things we can then eat to encourage and promote healthy eatting.
We are making a garden to grow vegetables and flowers. We have planted tomatoes and bean to go into the garden.
Babies Room leader - Binley

I am level 3 qualified and have been working with children for the last 9 years
I love watching and helping the children to learn, grow and reach their full potential. I enjoy creating different tuff trays of activites based on different themes, for the children to explore and i love joining in with their imaginary play.

I have completed my level 3 and have over 7 years experience of working with children.
I enjoy watching the children grow and especially enjoy carrying out activities with the babies. Love seeing the babies develop new skills
Toddlers Room Leader - Binley

I am level 2 qualified and have been working with children for the last 5 years
I enjoy running the toddler room and being part of the childrens learning and development, it makes me happy to see the progress they make and know i have helped them with that. I especially enjoy setting up new activities based on that weeks theme for the children to enjoy and explore.

I love being part of the children's learning and development. I find each day different and exciting. I really enjoying seeing the children grow and develop during their time with us, especially when they start in the baby room and stay untill they leave for school.

I am working towards my level 2 qualification. I am based in the toddler room
I really enjoy being a member of staff at Cherry Tree, I feel fully supported as i work towards getting my qualification. I continue to learn new things each day and look at how i can implement that into my practice. My favourite thing to do is 'crazy dancing' with the children, we have so much fun!

I have completed my level 2 in childcare, and am working towards my level 3. I am based in the toddler room.
I really enjoy working as part of the toddler staff team, to keep the children laughing and entertained. I enjoy using different instruments to create new beats and new words to the songs to keep the children engaged. I also enjoy creating strong bonds with the children and their families.

I enjoy working as part of the team at Cherry Tree, i have felt very welcomed since recently starting. I really enjoy singing and dancing with the children and turn everything into a fun song!

I enjoy working in the baby room Paula, however i do like to work with the other age groups too
Preschool room leader - Binley

I am level 3 qualified and have been working with children for 3 years.
I have spent time working with the children in all of the rooms, but my favourite is preschool. I love having conversations with them and discovering each of their personalities, they never fail to make me laugh each day. I enjoy creating events to go along with our theme like trips to the farm, or sessions getting all the families involved.

I love being a part of the children's daily learning. I especially enjoy working with children that have English as an additional language, I enjoy learning words from different languages to help them feel more settled. It is so rewarding to see how much English they learn with us and know i had a part in that.
